Why it’s time to get over the fear of Italy
An architectural writer has a solution to the fear people have about Italy.
He says it’s a matter of not expecting too much from architecture in the way of spectacular and ambitious projects.
He has created a simple yet comprehensive guide to Italy.
Italian architect Paolo Bresciani, who lives in Rome, created a guide that outlines the world’s best and worst of Italian architecture, which is in Italian, English and German.
The book includes a list of 100 projects he believes should be undertaken in Italy, including some that are on the brink of failure.
“There’s a lot of Italian art in the world,” he said.
“So I wanted to take the time to explain it in a way that would be useful for anyone who wants to start from scratch.”
He wrote the guide because of a series of meetings with Italy’s government, including one last week in the southern city of Genoa.
He met Prime Minister Sergio Mattarella and Prime Minister Matteo Renzi and talked to them about the challenges they face.
The Italian government has faced a series or “mixed messages” in the past few years about the state of its architecture.
The government has blamed the country’s financial crisis on bad public spending, and it has blamed high house prices on a housing crisis that has pushed people out of the city center and forced them to travel long distances.
But there is an element of truth in that, said BresCiani.
“If you look at the history of Italian architectural projects, they have been very much focused on the public,” he told CNN.
“And I think in recent years, there has been a lot more emphasis on the private sector.”
The government has been trying to fix the problem by building more housing, but the problem is not going away.
The government and many of its local and regional governments are investing in projects like new public parks and the renovation of historic buildings.
They have also begun to build more affordable housing.
BresCieri has also put together a guide to the countrys most notable modern and classic buildings, including the famous Palazzo della Fonda and the Villa delle Piazza, where the Roman Emperor Hadrian built a palace.
The architect wrote that he felt his guide should be accessible for everyone, including people who have never visited Italy.
“I hope that this guide will inspire a lot, because it is very important for us all,” he wrote.
“We all have the right to the best and the worst of Italy.”
